大家好，我是小玉儿妈妈，今天我们来讲一个马文生气的故事，叫《Marvin gets mad》,那我们今天要学的一个单词就是
apple 英[ˈæpl] n. 苹果
我们看看这个故事讲了些什么呢？
One perfect morning Marvin and Molly found a tree full of big, juicy apples.
一个风和日丽的早上，马文和莫莉两只羊发现了一个非常非常大的苹果树，这个苹果很多汁哦，就是juicy 英 [ˈdʒu:si] adj. 多汁的。
There was one apple that Marvin really wanted but no matter how high he jumped, he couldn’t quite reach it.
（树上有一个苹果马文很想要）但不管他怎么跳，他都是抓不到。
Maybe it will fall off, thought Marvin.
可能一会儿就掉啦。
于是
He waited, and waited...and waited!
But the apple did not fall. Eventually Marvin fell asleep.
他等啊等啊，他觉得苹果一会儿就会掉了，可是他却睡着了，苹果却没有掉。

When Marvin woke up, the apple was gone. Molly was eating it!
“I wanted that apple!” shouted Marvin
“Sorry,” said Molly. “I didn’t know.”
当他醒来的时候发现苹果没有了，可是莫莉却在吃他想要的那个苹果，于是马文就生气了：“那可是我的苹果呀！”
莫莉细声地说：“对不起啊，我也不知道。”
Marvin was not happy.
“Don’t get mad with me,” said Molly.
“There are lots more apples in the tree.”
（马文不太开心）
树上还有好多苹果呢，不要对我生气（莫莉说）。
“I WANTED THAT APPLE!” shouted Marvin. “AND YOU’VE EATEN IT!!”
（我想要那个苹果！但是你把它吃了！）马文生气的已经开始爆炸了。
Marvin was so mad...he grew MAD teeth, MAD horns, MAD feet, and a MAD tail.
哟，他的牙齿，犄角然后脚丫，还有他的尾巴都已经变得疯狂了。
ps：这里可以让宝宝夸张地表演一下生气的样子，牙齿生气的样子，羊角生气的样子，脚丫子生气的样子，尾巴生气的样子
“I WANTED MY APPLE!!”
“Calm down.” said Molly.
（“我想要我的苹果！”）
（“冷静点。”莫莉说。）
“NO!” shouted Marvin, and he stamped on the flowers, he knocked over the chicken shed,
（“不！”马文喊道，）
he frightened the ducks, and bit a cow’s tail.
还咬牛的尾巴，看看他，他踩花，然后用犄角撞鸡栏，而且还吓小鸭子，哎哟，马文真是气坏了。
Marvin didn’t know what he wanted any more.
He stamped his big mad feet and let out a big mad...
（马文不知道他想要什么。）
（他跺着他疯狂的脚丫，生着很大的气。）
As Marvin stamped harder and harder, the ground began to rumble underneath him...
And suddenly... “BAAAAA!”
（随着马文跺的越来越用力，在他脚下的地面开始轰隆隆的响。）
ps：rumble 英 [ˈrʌmbl] v. 发出隆隆声 underneath 英 [ˌʌndəˈni:θ] adv.在下面

（爆裂声）

The ground opened up and swallowed him whole.
Marvin fell deeper and deeper and landed with a thud, all alone in the dark.
太可怜了，马文因为生气把地给踩裂了，结果自己掉到了大洞里面，大家看一下，马文的生气是不是带来了好多不好的东西。
ps：thud 英 [θʌd] n. 砰的一声（a low sound made by something heavy falling or hitting something）
这里可以给宝宝模仿一下，从坐着的沙发上一跃而起，稳稳当当站在沙发上，然后landed with a thud，连着动作、声音效果，基本上算是重现了Marvin掉进坑里的情景
“BAAAA!” shouted Marvin, but no one could hear him.
He tried to break the wall, but that only hurt his head.
Marvin was all alone.
（“咩！”马文喊道，但是没有人能听到。）
（他试着撞破墙壁，但那却伤了他的头。）
（马文一个人留下来了。）
He closed his eyes and remembered the perfect day in the meadow.
I wish Molly was here, he thought.
Gradually Marvin felt less mad.
（他闭上眼睛想起他在草地上美好的一天）
（我真希望莫莉在这里，马文想着）
（渐渐地，马文不再感到那么生气了）
ps：meadow 英 [ˈmedəʊ] n. 草地，牧场（the place much grass grows）
When Marvin opened his eyes, there was Molly!
“I’m sorry I was so angry,” said Marvin.
（当马文睁开眼睛，莫莉出现在他面前）
马文终于醒悟过来说：“我当时太生气了”
“That’s OK,” said Molly. “I came to find you. I thought you might be lost. And look, I’ve found another big, juicy apple.
（apple，我们今天要学的大苹果这个词）
It’s for you!”
（“没关系”莫莉说，“我来找你了，我怕你迷路了。看）这可是我给你叼来的好苹果呀，它也非常的好，你赶紧吃吧。”
“Thank you!” said Marvin.
And Molly showed Marvin the way back up to the meadow.
（“谢谢你！”马文说）
（莫莉）还带他重新回到了草地上。
Everything was perfect again.
But Marvin didn’t want an apple any more...
He wanted a pear!
（一切再次变得美好。）
（但是马文不再想要一个苹果...）
（他想要一个梨子！）
But no matter how high he jumped, he couldn’t quite reach it.
但是他不管怎么蹦，他还是蹦不到，大家看到了没有，最后已经不想要苹果了，他有了新的目标，就是梨子。
啊，这个故事讲完了，我们看到了不能控制自己的情绪是多糟糕，所以小朋友们一定要好好地吃苹果，不要什么都要好不好。
冲动是魔鬼，宝宝们千万不要随便生气哦~
