About being polite?

Hey,guys, this is Jack from Shanghai.How‘s everything going?

Politeness is the practical application of good manners or etiquette(from Wikipedia)
In daily life,we always wish others to be polite or show respect to us.Likewise,we are expected to be polite, too. But whether we notice the importance of it or not remains a question.

Today is a normal Sunday,but for me,it is a rare break after 2 weeks‘ tough work of the finals in school.I got an idea,"Why not ask someone out to have a vist to somewhere?"So this morning, I tried to "Wechat" the friend who may have time to hang out. But at last, I was refused by 4 persons successively, unexpectedly. "What‘s wrong with it? How can it be?"I was shocked and sad as well.

Later,a friend of mine told me that it was better to invite people in advance to be polite, or it would fail mostly.It was that time that I realize the importance of being polite.

Being polite, no matter in words or in action, will let people feel good and gives them spare space to prepare, resulting in a better ending.
