Q&A about Jaw Crusher Failure

During stone production process, many customers will meet various fault problems of jaw crusher. If these failures are not solved correctly, it would influence the whole production schedule. Here, I list the Q&A about jaw crusher failures.

Q: The main engine stops suddenly, how to solve?

A: The discharging opening may be blocked, clean it timely; the eccentric shaft bushing is loose, reinstalled or replace a new one.

Q: The main engine sheave and movable jaw work normally, but the crushing work stops.

A:  tension spring breaks, replace the spring; pull rod fracture, replace the tie rod; the toggle plate falls or breaks, reinstall or replace the toggle plate.

Q: Jump or bump sound appears when the movable and the fixed jaw plate work

A: It caused by the fastening bolt loose, should tighten it; or the discharging opening is too small, adjusting the opening to ensure it meet the requirement.

Q: During production, eccentric shaft bending or breaking.

A: Pay attention to the material hardness, if the hardnees exceeds the requirement, after long-term crushing, the eccentric shaft may be bended.
