2005年写作真题详解

一.作文题目

　　Part A

　　Directions:

　　Two months ago you got a job as an editor for the magazine Design & Fashion（1）. But now you find that the work is not what you expected（2）. You decide to quit. Write a letter to your boss, Mr Wang, telling him your decision（3）, stating your reason(s),and making an apology（4）.

　　Write your letter with no less than 100 words. Write it neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2. Do not sign your name at the end of the letter; use "Li Ming" instead. You do not need to write the address.

 

二.命题详解

　　由题目要求可知，2005年考研写作命题发生了一些变化，即去掉了原来题目中的三点提纲序号，但考生应该清楚，不管是小作文还是大作文，最好都写成三段。本篇文章的结构可划分为：

　　第一段告诉老板你的决定

　　第二段说明原因

　　第三段表示歉意

　　写作时严格按照提纲来写，顺序不宜打乱。另外，可以使用提纲中的关键词，但是千万不要照抄其中的词组或句子，否则会被扣分。对提纲中的词汇和句子结构最好进行同义更换。

　　本文第一段应首先进行自我介绍，然后开门见山，告诉老板你的辞职决定，也就是本文的写作目的。第二段写明辞职原因，主义应用文应注意礼貌，不要使用过激言语；原因最好有二至三点，一点太过单薄、可从工作性质、工作环境、自身能力、家庭情况、工作待遇等方面解释原因，争得对方同期；第三段应礼貌地给公司带来的不变表示歉意，同时可以表达自己受聘后对公司的感激之情，期待尽快得到老板的答复。

　　Dear Mr Wang,

　　I am very grateful to have been employed by you for the past two months as an editor for your magazine Design & Fashion. I appreciate the opportunity of having worked here with you and my other colleagues. The experience I had here will be never forgetten for my entire life.

　　However, as an young man whose primary interest is in computer programme rather than fashion design. I have found that my present job doesn‘t fall in my previous training and strength. I have therefore decide to quit this job to pursue anoter opportunity that may conform better to my educational background.

　　Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience that my leaving may cause.
