Madlib runs in database on Postgres. It‘s an effort to bing machine learning into the database, users don‘t need to move data out of the database run analytics and the separate execution engine and then move the results backs into the database. Advantage: machine learning on very large dataset. There are more than 50 principal algorithms in madlib.
