这个句子动作有先后关系，那能不能把they opened 改为 they had opened

不能改。如果把they opened 改为 they had opened，就变成强调当yang got out的时候，他们的capsule door已经开了。实际上主句——被强调的部分已经转移。但是这句话强调的是“他们一开门，杨就走了出来”，后半句yang got out才是重点，所以不能改。过去完成时除了表示时间上先于一般过去式，还有强调的意思，表示“一般过去时的动作发生的时候，某个动作已经处于已完成这一状态” 参考技术A 本句中的when是“在...时间之后”，完全可以把they opened 改为 they had opened以表明动作的先后。还可以用从属连词after去替换when这个从属连词。 参考技术B when引导的从句中是不用完成时的
