Motorcyclist Cheats Death After Explosive Crash (Video)

A motorcyclist has cheated death after catching fire during an explosive collision with a dump trump in Nanchang, China.

CCTV video which captured the crash, shows a man, identified only by the surname “Cheng”, drive his bike into the side of the truck as it was turning across his lane, CBS reports.

The truck immediately erupts in flame, the fire engulfing both the cabin and Cheng.

Truck driver Yang Juyong can be seen scrambling free of his vehicle, as the burning motorcycle rider tries to roll away from the wreckage.

Moments later bystanders, including Mr Yang, race over to drag the motorcyclist away from the inferno while beating at his flaming clothing in an attempt to douse the fire.

“The first thing that came into my mind was rescuing the man,” Mr Yang said.

“I did not care that my truck was burned. What I was thinking was trying to rescue that man first.”

Mr Chen was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Firefighters attended the scene and managed to bring the fire under control within 40 minutes.

Traffic police believe that speed may have been a factor in the crash.
