* RC for Resicential College

Dear freshmen:

Congratulations on your admission! Zhejiang University International Campus and the residential college welcome you with open arms! :D

The “senior” members in Residential College Student Committee (RCSC) cannot wait to meet you.

Sincerely, here is our first gift for you —— an intro to the Residential College, where you live in the campus!

Now please follow our guidance to look for the hidden treasure in the residential college from the following three aspects: life, study and recreation.

LIFE

In our international campus, you will enjoy your wonderful single bedroom and a public living room equipped with a TV, a refrigerator, a locker, a microwave, a hanging ironing machine, etc..

Living here, you can not only have your own private space, but also study and have fun with your floormates.

However, your happy dorm life will be under the premise of mutual respect and certain regulations of our dorm.

If necessary, it is acceptable to work out your exclusive unit regulations with the floormates together.

For example:

Clean up the expired food in the refrigerator in time;

Keep the public areas clean and tiny;

Keep the wash pool clean

......

Now it comes the points that

To live in the Residential College, you should know:

Males are not allowed to enter female dormitory after 9 pm till 8 am (for example);
disturbing others while they are studying or resting is considered impolite;
Letting others stay overnight in your bedroom is not allowed.

If you want to cook by yourself, the public kitchen can offer you a good chance.

You can easily find everything you need:

electromagnetic furnace

different kinds of pots

oven

microwave

refrigerator

cutlery

crockery

......

Bring your ingredients, seasonings and cutlery and call your friends to enjoy your kingdom of delicious food! XD

Feeling troublesome to wash your clothes by hands?

----The washing machines, dryers, shoes-washing machines and dry cleaning services in the Laundry can satisfy your requirements.

A Wechat Account and some e-cash in your Wechat Wallet is required for use of laundry. Open Wechat App and scan the QR code of the available machine, you can use it right away. Reservation of machines can be done via the Wechat official account of the laundri（兰德力效率自助洗） .

A large room with equipments for body-building--gym in RC, is also free for students to use.

You can find them available:

Cable Crossover, Butterfly，Flat Bench, Treadmill, Elliptical, Spinning, etc.

STUDY

Team study, project discussion… Where should we go?

Don’t worry~ Residential College had prepared different sizes of bright, spacious discussion rooms and classrooms with air condition, digital screen and adjustable desks. Sign and reserve the rooms at the reception desk and you can enjoy a comfortable study time.

You can choose discussion rooms for 3/8/10 persons based on your need.

Another highly recommended place to study is the Reading Room inside the residential college. Although the collection of books is not that much, every book is ordered by students. There’s always one that can get your favor.

One leisurely afternoon, why not lie in the soft sofa with a cup of mellow coffee and your favorite book, watching the sunset through the window……Oh~ Life is so great.

RECREATION

If you're a music lover, there're two places in the Art Zone you can never miss: band room ×1 and piano rooms ×2.

The band room is equipped with a drum set, a keyboard, several microphones and so on. Come and explore more!

Tips:

The band room is equipped with speaker boxes, which can be connected to your phone or laptop. Just plug in the microphone and the speaker box, and start your show time!
