World's First Blockchain Industry Sandbox, Launches in China

       On December 29, 2017, Andrew International Sandbox Research Institute successfully launched Taishan Sandbox, the first blockchain-based industry sandbox in the world, Laoshan district's city meeting hall. The sandbox contains 200 Laoshan chains that can be used in all industries. The conference also received strong support from Peking University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, CCID (Qingdao) Blockchain Research Institute, Qidan Business School and other institutions.

       Taishan Sandbox is the world's first blockchain based industry sandbox and the first blockchain test sandbox platform with big data support. It integrates blockchain, big data, cloud services, containers, automated testing, automated monitoring and other technologies as a whole, and provides services for government regulation and industry self-service platforms. Taishan Sandbox can pool the blockchain server resources and allocate resources based on the blockchain cloud environment and need for storage and computation. Analysis of large-scale blockchain data sharing will provide a cooperation platform among the participating agencies. By refining the rules and forming a viable industrial regulatory system, we can prevent, identify, warn and deal with the risks of industry blockchain applications. It has already reached technology export agreements with Hong Kong and Canada.

 

       The first phase of the sandbox's 200 Laoshan chains are able to functions as registration chains, clearing chains, payment chains, and digital points chains. Among them, the registration chain can be used in scenarios such as logistics, customs, food and medicine that need to be registered and traced. The payment chain can be used in blockchain payment and real-time payment scenarios. The clearing chain can be used in transaction clearing, payment and multiple party settlements. Digital points chain can be used to issue business points, digital wallet and other related business scenarios.
