Speed Networking Vol.2

Ever heard of speed networking? Well, it’s kind of like speed dating but with a professional twist! Our first activity in autumn 2017 was a speed networking session! Networking involves connecting with people and learning new things from others, both of which can boost your personal and professional development.

听说过快速社交吗？其实和闪电约会很像，不过要带点职业范儿！Speed Networking Vol.2 是BeHive在2017年秋季学期举办的第一场活动，目的是帮助大家在职场和生活中快速结识他人，建立关系，获取信息，互相学习

Hive Recap - 上期活动回顾 | Speed Networking Vol.2

Speed networking was a very easy yet efficient and productive way to enable participants to connect and interact with as many people in the room as possible.

活动有效地训练了他们的交际能力，让在场的每一个人都与其他人获得了充分的接触。

Sitting in two lines, an outer and an inner one, people had four-minute conversations with one another and when the bell rang, those sitting in the outer circle moved clockwise to the next person. It's amazing how many smiles and how much joy one can create with just a yellow bell!

活动中，所有人围成内外两圈，每个人有4分钟的时间和对面的人进行交流，计时铃声一响，外圈的人立马按顺时针旋转，进行新一轮的交流。在这个过程中，伴随着阵阵铃声，我们见证了无数的欢声笑语。

Here is some feedback from people who attended the event.

“Everyone has 4 minutes to talk to strangers. I don't know them, but to play the game, I had to talk to them, to think of a topic and make the conversation go on. It was hard for me, but I think that I succeeded. It's a good thing for an introvert like me.”

“My goal in joining BeHive was to practice my English speaking. Everyone in this group helps me. I really appreciate them and I think I can really improve my public-speaking skills in these events. I think it's the perfect place for me.”
