Why learn Ruby?

If you are involved in web developoment, then you have probably heard the term 'Ruby on Rails'. So how does this work? Well, Ruby is the backend programming language 

that you need to learn to be able to use Rails. Rails is a framework, meaning it is a set of resources and tools for software developers to build and manage web applications, web services and websites. It is designed to make programming web applications easier by providing you with most of the common tools you need to get started. It allows you to write less code while accomplishing more, and this is very useful in the startup community where development and production needs to be speedy. Hence the relevance of learning Ruby!
