About the Role：

As a Senior Tool Developer, you will become a key player in current SuccessFactors Engineering Performance team’s transition to empower both our own and other engineering teams on performance assessment/troubleshooting/optimization via automation/tools, including but not limited to application performance management, single user performance testing automation framework, load test automation framework, scripting/execution/report framework for CI.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the management team on the overall plan of performance tool enablement.

• Lead the engineering efforts from planning and organization to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems in performance testing/troubleshooting/optimization and CI.

• Drive application performance management solution.

• Design and build advanced automated testing frameworks.

• Design and build tooling and infrastructure to help team improve productivity.

• Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.

• Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design.

Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• Relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.

• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, Java is preferred.

• Scripting skills in Perl, Shell or another common language.

• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

• Deep knowledge of Internet technologies.
