最新开发版本 Mozilla Firefox 60.0 Beta 5 发布

在发布Firefox 59稳定版的同时，Mozilla同时也在积极推进下个版本的更新。Firefox 60是“Quantum”系列的最新开发版本，在进一步提升性能的基础上更加注重用户隐私的保护。 新版本中引入了更多的隐私保护功能：当用户面部没有出现在网站录制的时候Firefox就会自动关闭计算机的网络摄像头，虽然摄像头依然处于可用状态但可以确保这些网站不会记录到你。

当你回来恢复之后摄像头会继续重新工作。当遇到一些奇葩的网站私下调用摄像头并且不启动摄像头上的指示灯的时候，Firefox会强制开启摄像头指示灯，以提醒用户确保设备依然正在进行录制。

Mozilla在版本说明初版中写道：“当网站想要静默调用你的摄像头的时候Firefox现在可以自动关闭摄像头，这样用户就能从摄像头灯来判断网站是否存在擅自启用摄像头的情况，在摄像头灯关闭之后用户不再需要关心网站是否依然还在进行录制。当录制恢复的时候这些灯会重新亮起来。”

为了改进登陆安全，Firefox 60还将支持网页授权，允许用户使用USB令牌来对用户喜爱的网站进行认证。此外，Firefox 60还支持IT管理员通过全新的策略引擎在企业环境中自定义Firefox部署。

Firefox 60中，Mozilla还新增了一些全新的开发者功能：包括此前承诺的IndexedDB交换，以及明确控制某个网页是否应该重新加载，这项功能已经通过 Responsive Design Mode进行部署。

Firefox 60有望于2018年5月9日上线，目前已经发布了Beta 3版本，用户可以下载GNU/Linux，Windows和macOS系统版本。Firefox 60将会成为Mozilla的下个ESR（扩展支持版本）分支，替代目前的Firefox 52 ESR系列，这就意味着该版本将会弃用旧版的附件组件。Firefox 52 ESR将于2018年8月28日停止支持。

• Enhanced camera privacy indicators: Firefox now turns off your camera when you face-mute on web-sites that use your camera, turning off your camera light so you don't have to wonder if the site is still recording you. The light will come back on whenever recording resumes.
