Google 发布了 android 9 的正式版本，透露 P 代表“Pie”。Android 的名字通常都以糖果食物为名。Google 宣布 Android 9 Pie 已经开发完毕，开始推送给 Google Pixel 手机。 Android 9 的新功能包括：自适应电池管理，延长电池使用时间；自适应明亮度，自动根据环境调整明亮度；App Actions 预测用户行为；直观的导航；Digital Wellbeing；设定应用使用时间限制；大幅修改 UI，新的通知面板，大量系统 UI 改动，等等。
