Collective Production Orders in PP

You can use collective orders in the following production environments:

• Make-to-stock production

• Sales-order-related production (Make-to-Order production )

 Can u pls brief out what are all prerequisites for collective (Production) order processing scenario.

 what are all master data changes we should make to materials?

 Also how the Scenario will run?

**** Answers to Collective Prod. orders in PP

With Special Procurement Key -52 maintained for the superior materials (MRP2 view) ,  we are able to create the Collective Orders.

and BOM explosion dependent requirement in MRP4 view as 2 (collective requirements).

Since suborder material is directly produced , when confirm the "suborder", the produced qty will issued automatically to "superior order".

There is no separate goods issue is needed for superior order in collective order structure.

After confirming the suborder, u can confirm the superior order, and make GR for finished product.

For above process "Collective order with goods movements" check box should be activated for Order type at OPJH .

*No special setting are required …

you can create Collective orders with T Code CO41, from planned orders.

If you are looking for Collective release then use T Code CO05N.
