We’re happy to announce that the link for registration is now open, and it is time to be creative, prepare your artworks and submit them to us! We look forward to seeing all the amazing pieces so don’t hesitate and send send send.

 

The kid who wins the “best artwork” will have the chance to be on the cover of our sister magazine Parents&Kids' as well as have their artwork featured within its pages. Furthermore, the winner will win a three night garden suite stay in Lijiang from Banyan Tree Lijiang, which is valued ¥13,500!

Artwork Requirements:

All artwork must contain neon paint or other light materials (in order to be seen in the darkened exhibition room) and must contain animals.

Size specifications

Paintings: A4 or A3 paper

Hand crafts: length, width and height must be under 1 meter

Parents&Kids Art Competition?

 

Our sister magazine Parents & Kids has been the host of this Art Competition in Shanghai for 13 years and every year the outcome is incredible! We get more than 700-800 art pieces from more than 20 different international schools. Now you can be a part of the Art Competition history by participating with your own creative work. 

Previous artworks

Turn animals into amazing neon figures and join us as you make your own masterpiece. You can be as creative as possible, making colours stand out like never before! Show off your skills and win great prizes by creating your very own Neon Zoo. 

The result of the competition will be released on November 23rd at the "Lumieres Shanghai 2017 Opening Ceremony" @THE HUB. Hundreds of kids' artworks will be exhibited in a darkened exhibition space – " THE HUB Neon Zoo" from November 23rd, 2017 to January 7th, 2018.

The masterpieces will be auctioned off at the end of the exhibition and all proceeds will go to a charity – Orbis, an organization dedicated to saving sight worldwide by focusing on the prevention and treatment of blindness.
