Hamilton Le (30)
- Product Manager & Head of Customer Success
Le Wagon Shanghai - Batch 76
"Le Wagon experience allowed me to leap 2-4 years ahead in my career, as I had wanted to become a technical product manager, which I've already found a job in, and had 20 interview opportunities and many offers for PM or fullstack developer. I'm really grateful and feel indebted to Le Wagon and the team."
Dan Engel (28)
- Recent grad, Freelance Developer
Le Wagon Chengdu - Batch 88
"Despite only being an alumnus for three weeks, my experience has already been positive. The Le Wagon network has helped me with the job hunt and ensuing technical questions I've had after successfully picking up some freelance work. Since my Le Wagon project team built a WeChat Mini-program for our final project, the first freelance job that I've picked up since completing the bootcamp is working on some features and UI redesign for a Mini-program."
Nathan Lee (22)
- Investment Analyst
Le Wagon Shanghai - Batch 76
"What makes Le Wagon different from most bootcamps is the fact that they craft their curriculums based around the students' needs and goals, as well as the area that they are in. It was awesome to learn about the local ecosystem as well as the tech culture."
Rachel Yang (20)
- College student
Le Wagon Shanghai - Batch 90
"I really enjoyed my time at Le Wagon---there were so many things to love about this program. [...] I got so many opportunities open up to me. The alumni group has job postings nearly every day. I got an internship at a tech consulting company right after the bootcamp. Moreover, I was inspired to start a club at my school, using what I learned in this bootcamp to help local non-profits achieve their goals."

First and foremost, is dedication. 2 consecutive months, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., immersive training with live code challenges is no piece of cake. We teach you the skills you need to start building programs as quickly as possible, and we expect you to give 110% to the program, and to your peers. Nothing worthwhile is easy, and we will kick your ass everyday for 9 weeks!
Team spirit is essential. There is no "I" in TEAM - and no successful startup or project is done by one person alone. Each day you will be working with a partner on coding challenges, and for the last three weeks of the project you will be working with a team to build products from scratch. You will laugh, cry, and argue with your team, but you will also achieve more than you ever thought possible in a short amount of time!
The right expections. Le Wagon does not make false promise of job-landing services, nor does it mass produce senior engineers (let's be realistic). We can promise you the technical skills, guidance from mentors, and very large network you need to open new opportunities. But in the end, YOU are in charge of your destiny and you decide what to do with your education - whether that is to become a developer, freelancer, or startup founder - like hundreds of students have done before you!
Pre-course work. You are required to complete a programming track on Codeacademy just to be considered for the program. If you are admitted, you must complete additional pre-requisite work covering HTML/CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, and more. To get the most out of the program, you need to be prepared before you even set foot in the classroom!
Get connected with professionals in Tokyo, Chengdu, Sao Paulo, Berlin, London or Barcelona... 2000+ graduates in 23 cities, with various backgrounds (engineers, journalists, architects, designers..) are chatting every day on WeChat and on Slack, questioning our teaching staff, sharing tips, resources, code gists, job offers and news from their products. One of the best tech communities in the world. All the students of le Wagon share the same technical background and apply industry best practices. This mix between diversity & technical expertise makes our community unique.
Curriculum, Tuition & Conditions, Special Offers, Visas, Preparation... we got you covered.
