大家好今天我要讲日食,Solar Eclipse

Have you ever seen a solar eclipse? A solar eclipse is when the moon passes in front of the sun and blocks out the sun light. There's another type of eclipse and it's called the lunar eclipse.  The Lunar eclipse is when the moon is behind the earth and the earth is blocking the sunlight from reaching the moon. When the moon passes in front of the sun you can see the Sun's corona.  You can only see the sun's corona when the moon passes in front of the sun completely. The sun’s corona is basically the sun’s atmosphere. The moon is actually a polygon shape since of the mountains and craters but since we are so far away from the moon, to us it looks like a perfect circle passing in front of the Sun. To see a solar eclipse you will need a special kind of glasses called eclipse sunglasses or else you can get blinded from the sun!
