The sidebar is useful for showing your files and directory structure,
but sometimes you need a little more window space to code. Using the
keyboard shortcut `CTRL/⌘-K, CTRL/⌘-B` (in this order) will toggle the
sidebar. Remember a sidebar will only be viewable if you have multiple
files or a folder open.
