The subject of the article is that sharing some collocations with the word “game”.What are collocations?Collocations are words that native speakers put them together naturally because they grow up always hearing them together.
Pay attention to the combination,the separate words might not match up,but together they create a new meaning.
The collocations with the word “game” are used in the business world.Here are some “game” collocations:

• end game:It refers to your final goal.

• ball game:It refers to the way that something is done.
  For example:Working in a company is one thing,and running own company is a ball game.
• head games:Someone wants to confuse another person by doing or saying things.
  For example:Sarah is playing head games with Tom.
• shell game:The collocation refers to such case:someone pretends to do one thing,but he/she actually is busy with something else.And it is bad or illegal.
  For example:Their shell game kept everyone’s attention off what they were really doing.
• fair game:It is reasonable to attack or go for it.
  For example:When the new position opens it is fair game for everyone who wants to apply.
• game-changer:It refers to a state when something happens that completely change a situation.We can say that it is a game-changer.
